800 Acorns: Celebrating the Charter of the Forest's Octocentennial

As part of the Arts & Sciences Year of Civics and Citizenship in the 21st Century: Keys to Our Common Future, we celebrate the 800th Charter of the Forest.  This tree-planting event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017 in the Daniel Boone National Forest, Rockhouse Rd.  Lunch will be provided, and there will be free t-shirts with the acorn logo that was designed by local artist John Lackey.
